The College operates its own private bus system, with nine coaches in its fleet, transporting students outside the Nathalia Government pick up area. The College Private bus system picks up students from Finley, Tocumwal, Barooga, Cobram, Katamatite, Yarroweyah, Strathmerton, Numurkah, Wunghnu, Tallygaroopna, and surrounding areas.
Buses arrive at Power Street on the east side of the College.
Bus routes are reviewed annually with a view to student demographics, accessible sealed roads and cost effectiveness. Bus routes and bus stops may change each year for a variety of reasons, including those mentioned above. The changes will be at the sole discretion of the Bus Operations Manager.
If you require more information on any bussing issues please contact the Bus Operations Manager (Mobile 0417 058 818).
While using the College Bus system students need to remember that they are representatives of the College as they travel to and from school. As well as obeying any laws which are applicable, students should also observe traditional rules of politeness.
Students travelling on the College bus system are expected to:
- Obey safety bus rules as stated in the College Bus Contract, which is signed by parents/guardians and their child(ren) at the beginning of each year.
- Students must follow the directions of the bus driver or bus captain. Bus captains are vested with authority from the school to supervise the students on their buses.
